University Exemplary Department

Founded in 2016, the School of Neuroscience aspires to be at the forefront of education, research and training in Neuroscience. Our faculty apply molecular, cellular, developmental, behavioral, and computational approaches to study the structure and function of the nervous system in health and disease. Our mission is to be a world leader in delivering this discipline to our undergraduate neuroscience majors, graduate students, and postdoctoral trainees.  The final, yet equally important goal of the School of Neuroscience is to promote an academically enriching and supportive climate that allows all members of our community to thrive and succeed.
